Biography

I have served in a variety of positions at Ferris State University since August of 2014; the most recent position being an Instructional Designer and Technologist for eLearning.

The role I held prior to this was Professional Advisor for the School of Digital Media. I have also worked in Human Resources as the clerical assistant for the Staff Center for Training and Development here and as the Student Access Specialist in the Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships

Before working at FSU, I was employed at primary and secondary schools, and in regional education centers. I worked with partners at the local, state, and federal levels doing instructional work in the field of education.

I have enjoyed all of my roles in education and have gained knowledge in the areas of educational systems, systems management, and the process improvement cycle related to student outcomes. I have also gained a sense of personal joy from the impact my work has had on student achievement and success.
