Bill Crowe is a senior public service faculty member at the University of Georgia with a research interest in two-year college advancement, leadership and capacity building. Prior to coming to Georgia Crowe spent 25 years at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. The last 15 years Crowe served as president. During his time as president in Tyler the institution built a strong advancement operation to support the college. That organization included a vibrant alumni association, strong development team and significant growth in both annual giving and endowed funds. Currently Tyler Junior College has the 6th largest two-year college support foundation in the country and is consistently one of the top annual fundraisers among two-year colleges in America.
The unique combination of experience and research give Crowe valuable insights into the world of advancement in today’s two-year colleges.
Crowe holds an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA, and is a distinguished graduate of the Community College Leadership Program at the University of Texas, Austin.
