Biography

Susan DeCamillis is a proud community college graduate and has worked at a community college since 1988. At Northwestern Michigan College, she holds the positions of business academic chair and director of academic affairs. While at NMC, she has held a variety of administrative positions in the areas of occupational studies and workforce education.

Susan has attained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ferris State University, and a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She is a graduate of the inaugural cohort of the Ferris DCCL program.

Dr. DeCamillis is the architect of a metrics-based approach to program review that is widely accepted in the state of Michigan. Her professional interests include policy, course and program assessment, and curriculum design.
