Linda Meeuwenberg, a Ferris State University alumna and emeriti faculty member, recently earned the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc. Award for Excellence in Dental Hygiene.

Brianna Wise, a 2017 alumna of Ferris State University’s Teacher Education program, was recently selected as one of 17 recipients of the Maitland P. Simmons Memorial Award for New Teachers.

Generations of Ferris State University College of Pharmacy students will benefit from the largest gift in the University’s history – a $6.59 million bequest from the estate of the late Dewaine V. and Jana B. Robinson, of Flint.

Kathleen and Mark Seckinger became a true example of "paying it forward" by establishing a $2 million estate gift to create a scholarship endowment for students in Ferris State University's College of Health Professions.

A 1993 graduate of Ferris State University’s Surveying Engineering program has taken a leadership role with the Federal Bureau of Land Management, as Dominica Van Koten has become chief cadastral surveyor, serving at the BLM headquarters in Washington D.C.

Curt McAllister, a 1989 graduate of Ferris State University’s Public Relations program, was recently named the 2018 Communicator of the Year by the Detroit chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.

Sean Huddleston, an alumnus of Ferris State University's Doctorate of Community College Leadership program, was recently named president of Martin University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
