Alumnus Jeffrey Rowe received the Michigan Pharmacists Association Pharmacist of the Year Award during the Association's Annual Convention and Exposition at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The award is Michigan's highest honor in the pharmacy profession.

Adel Makki (P'05) is anything but a typical business owner, manager and human being. He chooses to live a generous life, showing compassion for those he encounters and offering his time, money and talents, while remaining a successful businessman who is involved in multiple ventures at a time.

Brian Bartow (B '85), the St. Louis Cardinals’ director of communications, has won Major League Baseball’s Robert O. Fishel Award for Public Relations Excellence. Bartow was a student assistant in Ferris’ Sports Information office for two years, and served as statistician and public address announcer for Bulldog baseball while completing his bachelor’s degree.

Sara (A&S) and Bob Moylan (ET '00) appeared on an episode of the ABC-TV reality series, “Shark Tank,” on Jan. 29, 2016, and accepted $250,000 in investment support from a business tycoon for a women’s sports bra produced by their company.
