The FSUAA Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Office of Alumni Relations in support of alumni programs and activities that further the strategic plan of Ferris State University. The Board provides insight, resources, influence, skills, and connections to further the mission of the Alumni Association and achievement of strategic priorities. Board members will promote Ferris State within their networks, as appropriate, and will demonstrate a commitment to philanthropic engagement by annually contributing to the University.

Members may serve up to two consecutive terms. Terms are three-year periods which will run parallel to the academic calendar year.

Committees

All FSUAA Board members must serve on at least one committee. Members will serve on a committee for one full academic calendar year at a time and may move to a different committee after each year, if desired. The standing FSUAA Committees and their descriptions are outlined below.

Each committee independently develops goals and project activities to aid and advance Ferris State University. Committees will regularly report on their efforts to the full FSUAA Board.
