Woodbridge N. Ferris (WNF) Scholarships

This list of WNF Scholarship options are for students that are submitting SAT/ACT test scores for admission and scholarship consideration.  If you are applying as a test-optional student, please scroll to the WNF Test-Optional Scholarships lower on this page.

WNF Test-Optional Scholarships

Students that are admitted under our test-optional program will automatically be considered for the WNF Scholarship opportunities listed in the chart below. To be considered for the test-optional program, the student must indicate "test-optional" on their admission application and submit essay questions. WNF Fully-Online and Statewide Scholarships  (New for Fall 2020)

Freshmen that are admitted to one of the following full-time, fully-online or statewide programs listed below,  beginning in the fall 2020 semester, that have the high school GPA requirements listed in the chart below, may qualify for the WNF Dean's or Gold Scholarship.  

Fully-Online:

  • Surveying Technology Associate's Degree
  • Integrative Studies Associate's Degree
  • Information, Security & Intelligence (ISIN) Bachelor's Degree
  • Marketing Associate's Degree
  • Project Management Bachelor's Degree
  • (Fall of 2021) Digital Media Software Engineering Bachelor's Degree

Statewide:

  • Digital Animation and Game Design Bachelor's Degree *
  • Digital Media Software Engineering Bachelor's Degree *
  • Health Care Systems Administration Bachelor's Degree *

 * Students enrolled in these three Statewide programs may take classes at both FSU and GRCC. Students must be enrolled continuously full-time (at least 12 credit hours) with combined enrollment at both schools to qualify for the scholarship. The Scholarship amounts will be prorated based on the number of Ferris credit hours each student is enrolled for. Example: If a student is enrolled in 6 Ferris credit hours and 6 GRCC credit hours, this meets the full-time requirement for the scholarship. The student in this example would receive the prorated amount for 6 Ferris credit hours.  Please click here for proration information

Ferris Next Scholarship

Value - $1,000 per year/ $4,000 for four years

  • Renewal cumulative GPA: 2.75 
  • Requires continuous full-time enrollment

Out-of-State Students

Effective in the Fall 2018 semester, Ferris State University will no longer charge a non-resident tuition rate. All U.S. citizens as well as Canadian citizens (from any province) will be charged the same undergraduate tuition rate as Michigan residents.
