For complete scholarship details, please see our Transfer Scholarship Frequently Asked Questions.
Students enrolled in a Statewide or fully online undergraduate degree programs may take classes at both Ferris and/or their approved community college location. Students must be enrolled continuously full-time (at least 12 credit hours) to qualify for the scholarship. This can be a combination of approved enrollment at both schools, but the scholarship will be prorated to pay toward Ferris courses only. Scholarships will not be awarded during the summer semester.
$1,000.
Criteria:
Ferris Statewide & Online Transfer scholarships will pay toward Ferris courses only. The scholarship amounts will be prorated based on the number of Ferris credit hours each student is enrolled for.
For example, if a student is enrolled in 6 Ferris credit hours and 6 community college credit hours with an approved consortium form on file, this meets the full-time requirement for the scholarship. The student in this example would receive the prorated amount for 6 Ferris credit hours. If a student takes courses only at the community college for a semester, this will count against the scholarship eligibility and the scholarship will be prorated to $0 for that semester. Remaining funds from proration cannot be used for future semesters.
