The film studies minor provides students with the opportunity for a more in-depth study of the world of cinema. Film minor students will learn about film history,styles, production, and cultural implications. The minor introduces the student to important films, directors, and studios. Students will learn about theHollywood studio style, world cinema, independent cinema, and their relationships. The cultural implications of film include examinations of gender, race, and class.
