Bulldog Bonus Scholarship

Up to $2,000 for new students for Fall 2023

The Bulldog Bonus Scholarship can earn new students for Fall 2023,  up to $2,000. All you need to do is complete simple tasks to get ready for classes to start and be a new freshman or new transfer student. Check the full eligibility notes below.

Follow these steps to qualify for the Bulldog Bonus Scholarship.

Be Admitted to Ferris by May 2, 2023

You will need to be admitted into an undergraduate degree-granting program for fall semester at our Big Rapids main campus, Kendall College of Art & Design, or Ferris Statewide/Online by May 2, 2023.

Attend a Virtual Financial Aid Bulldog Basics Workshop

Join us for a free Live Financial Aid Bulldog Basics virtual event. You must pre-register and attend the event to be eligible for the Bulldog Bonus. All events are scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Please plan to log in a few minutes early, as the virtual room will be locked ten minutes after the presentation start time. Each event date is capped to the first 295 registrants.  You will receive a confirmation email with your direct link to join the meeting.

File Your FAFSA

File and submit a valid 2023 - 2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing Ferris State University, by May 2, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Make sure to use the Ferris State school code.

Eligibility Notes

Bulldog Bonus Scholarship

  • Bulldog Bonus Scholarships are non-renewable and require full-time enrollment at Ferris State University's Big Rapids campus, at Kendall College of Art & Design, or Ferris Statewide/online, as a new freshman or a new transfer student. 
  • Bulldog Bonus Scholarships may be "stacked" with WNF Scholarships.
  • Award eligibility is limited to each student's estimated Cost of Attendance in accordance with  federal financial aid regulations.
