WNF Renewal Relaxation - Covid

Woodbridge N. Ferris (WNF) Scholarship recipients that were impacted by the Covid 19 Pandemic will automatically be subject to relaxed GPA renewal criteria as outlined below. This includes students that received a WNF Scholarship in the Spring 2020 semester, Fall of 2020 semester and Spring of 2021 semester.  WNF Scholarships for students that meet the GPA criteria as outlined below will be renewed, provided they meet the other general renewal requirements.

Students that lost WNF Scholarship eligibility prior to the Spring 2020 semester are not eligible for the relaxed renewal criteria. Students admitted for Fall 2021 semester and beyond will not be eligible for the Covid 19 GPA relaxation. 

DETAILS:

WNF recipients that earned a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and met other renewal criteria at the end of Spring 2020 semester were renewed. WNF recipients will be reviewed at the end of each spring semester until they graduate. WNF recipients impacted by Covid 19 will be allowed the relaxed GPA requirement as listed below until graduation or until they have received the maximum number of semesters allowed for their WNF scholarship. 

1. Spring 2021 – 2.25 cumulative GPA
2. Spring 2022 – 2.5 cumulative GPA
3. Spring 2023 – 2.75 cumulative GPA
4. Spring 2024 – will revert to current published renewal criteria:
