Plastics Tooling Lab

Plastics students take PLTS 212 (Mold and Product Design I) in the A.A.S. program and PLTS 312 (Mold and Product Design II) in the B.S. program. Both classes stress blueprint reading, mold component identification, and computer mold filling analysis. The plastics tooling lab has a variety of molds used exclusively for student teardown and assembly. The Plastics Program has been fortunate to have a number of corporations donate high quality, production tooling for use in our labs.
