Pharmacy 101 A/V System User Guide

TO TURN ON THE A/V SYSTEM

As you approach the instructor’s podium, the AV system control panel will notice your presence and display the start screen. It is a touch screen. 

Touch the "power on" button in the middle of the control panel screen. The projectors will power up and the LCD “confidence” monitors will lower into position. (These monitors show you what the projectors are displaying to the audience). The AV control panel will then show the main control screen, aka the home screen.

TO TURN OFF THE SYSTEM

When you are finished using the projectors, power down by selecting the System Off button from the bottom of the home screen.

Remember to turn off the computers and any other devices you turned on separately.

SELECTING WHICH DEVICE TO DISPLAY

In the middle of the home screen, note that there are two groups of icons (PC to Video Conf 2). The left grouping shows what devices you can display on the left projector, and the right grouping shows options for the right projector. Note that you can have the same device display on both screens. Touch the icon corresponding to the device you want to display through each projector.

TEMPORARILY STOP PROJECTING IMAGES TO THE AUDIENCE

Touch the Projector Mute icon corresponding to the projector you wish to hide from audience view, and touch it again to enable viewing once more.

TO RAISE THE INSTRUCTORS VIEW SCREENS

Touch the Screen and Projector Control icon on the home menu.

On this screen, touch the up arrow button in the Lift section corresponding to the LCD monitor you wish to raise. Touch it one more time to stop the motion. 

 

Touch Close to return to the home screen.

SPEAKER AND MICROPHONE CONTROLS

Adjust the speaker system volume by touching the up and down arrows on the right hand side of the home screen.

To adjust the microphones, first touch the Audio Controls button on the home screen. The Microphone Levels screen will appear.

Mute the microphones by touching the Mute icons as appropriate and adjust the sound level to the speakers with the up and down arrows.

 

Note that you may mute/unmute all the student microphones with one touch.
