Forgot your password? Locked out of your account? Save time and visit the Password Self Service website. In just a few easy steps you can be back in your account without needing to call the help desk. Visit the website to get started!
- Enter your Ferris email address and the letters from the captcha.
- Select the reason you are having trouble getting into your account.
- Select the contact method you’d like to use for verification and provide the information requested.
- Enter the verification code you receive from the contact method you chose.
- Enter a new password and confirm.
- Success! You can now get back into your account.
Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen, click System Preferences, and then click Users & Groups.
Click Change Password.
Enter your current password in the Old Password field.
Enter your new password in the New Password field, then enter it again in the Verify field. For help choosing a secure password, click the Key button next to the New Password field.
Enter a hint to help you remember the password. The hint appears if you enter the wrong password three consecutive times, or if you click the question mark in the password field in the login window.
Click Change Password.
