1 Replace Novell Dir. w/Microsoft Active Directory 100

All faculty, staff, and student accounts have been successfully migrated from Novell to Active Directory.

This project was completed in October 2013.

12 IT Network infrastructure: ongoing upgrades 80 Network upgrades in STR, NEC, VFS, and BUS are 100% complete
Core Upgrades to expand network to handle increased wireless traffic remains.
13 Upgrade wireless networks in academic buildings 80

Wireless Upgrades in STR, NEC, VFS, and BUS are 100% Complete. Controller Licensing and AP restock remain.

14 Implement alternate email and calendaring system 35 IT Services and General Counsel have been migrated to Office365. Additional migrations are planned for February 21 and March 7. It Services is in process of working with an outside vendor to develop an electronic time off calendar application that will work with Office365.
15 Implement Microsoft Systems Center 80 Both the Kace 1000 and Kace 2000 appliances are fully installed. IT Services has pushed the KACE agent out to over 1600 computers which represents about 1/3 of the project's goal number, and some software deployment has begun. Several hours of training have been completed and IT Services has implemented about half of the enterprise servers into the system with the rest following soon. Testing is being done for patch installation and compliance and reports are being tested and created.
17 University Web Server 33 The new Development Web Server is up and running and being tested by University Staff.(Phase 1) Once this testing has been completed we will move on to Phase 2.
21 Develop external hosting model 50 Modification to current process and procedures as well as a reduction of obsolete servers has reduced the need for external hosting. Once these actions are completed, this project will be revaluated.
