Coast Guard Foundation Scholarships
Available to currently enlisted reservists, dependent children of enlisted service members of the U.S. Coast Guard on active duty, retired or deceased, and dependent children of enlisted personnel in the Coast Guard Reserve currently on extended active duty 180 days or more.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
Children of Fallen Patriots funds are available to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
Eligible applicants must be the spouse or dependent of 1) An active duty or reserve service member killed or disabled in the line of duty or classified as a POW or MIA. 2) A veteran who died of any cause after being classified as having a service-connected disability. 3) A service member missing in action or captured by hostile forces in the line of duty. 4) A service member forcibly detained or interned by a foreign power in the line of duty. 5) A service member who received a Purple Heart Medal.
FRA Education Foundation: Colonel Hazel Elizabeth Benn Scholarship
Open to dependent unmarried children under age 23 of those who have died or have become disabled through their active military service since September 11, 2001.
Leave No Veteran Behind: Retroactive Scholarship
Available to children of currently serving or veteran's active duty or reserve Marines (or Navy Corpsmen who have served with a Marine Corps unit).
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Marine GYSGT John David Fry Scholarship
Available to children of Army Soldiers who are currently serving on federal active duty, retired, deceased while on active duty.
Military Officers Association of America Scholarship
Established in 1948 to provide educational assistance for children of military families. It is based on one of the association's founding principles that "education is the cornerstone of a strong democracy".
Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship
Available to Purple Heart recipients or their spouse, widow, or direct lineal descendant (child, step-child, adopted child or grandchild).
National Guard Association of Michigan (NGAM) Grant
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
Available to dependents of Navy service members who have served a minimum of 6 years in a unit under the administrative control of Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U. S. Atlantic Fleet or U. S. Pacific Fleet.
Navy: Wings over America Scholarship
Available to dependent children and spouses of U. S. Naval Air Force personnel who have served at least 8 years (non-consecutive) in an aviation or support command (any command abroad a Naval Air Station), including: active duty, retired, honorable discharged, or deceased.
Our Family for Families First Scholarships
Available to spouses of active duty service members stationed at one of the following installations: Fort Meade, Fort Bragg, Fort Polk, Fort Rucker, Fort Riley, Fort Sill, or Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Pat Tillman Military Scholarship
Military Scholarship available to veteran and active duty military service members, spouses of active or veteran service members, service members or spouses seeking assistance to pursue an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate degree as a full-time student at a public or private, 4-year U. S. based accredited institution. Tilman Military Scholars represent a rich and diverse set of backgrounds, experiences and ambitions, and are selected based on strong leadership potential and a drive to make a positive impact on others through service.
Student Veterans of America Scholarships
Offers three different veteran scholarships. One is for veterans who take an active leadership role in their chapter of SVA to further the mission of helping veterans make the transition from military life to school. Another is for those demonstrating a high level of commitment to math or science; candidate must be majoring in one of the following fields: science, technology, engineering, or math. The newest is the Google SVA Scholarship offered to Computer Science majors. All three are only for undergraduates pursuing a first baccalaureate degree and require an honorable discharge.
Available to 1) current active duty service members. 2) U.S. Military veterans. 3) Spouses of U. S. military member or veteran. 4) Surviving spouses or children of a fallen soldier. 5) Children of a military member or veteran. Applicants must be pursuing an associates, bachelors, masters or doctoral degree at and accredited college of university, or plan to attend a college or university the following academic year. Applicants must display financial need and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA.
VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero Scholarship is available to all active military members and honorably discharged veterans who were or are currently E-5 and below. Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded to qualified applicants annually.
