Designed for 100/200/300/400 level course work for the instruction of weldment testing
and inspection according to various welding industry codes & standards. The lab space

- Down draft ventilation cutting table station for manual OFC and PAC

- Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC) – Manual torch cutting equipment
- WATTS weldment testing station – Fillet weld break tests, root/face bend specimens,
tensile test specimens

- PAX-IT weld inspection stations
- 150 KVa digital X-ray system with Computed Radiographic (CR) development process
- Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing (UT) systems with transducers and cabling
- Electrode consumable oven; dual-wheel pedestal tungsten grinder; dual-wheel pedestal
