Designed for 200 level course work for the instruction of hands-on, practical welding and metal fabrication methods & applications. The lab space has the following equipment features:

Down draft ventilation cutting table station for manual OFC and PAC
CNC Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC) tables. (1) downdraft ventilation. (1) water containment table
Portable Aluminum Gas Metal Arc Welding systems
Oxygen Fuel Cutting (OFC) – column mounted torch & regulator sets and portable Oxygen Fuel Cutting stations
Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC) – Manual torch cutting equipment
Rotational pipe positioner with PAC system and X-Y torch mounting adjustment bracket
WATTS weldment testing station – Fillet weld break tests, root/face bend specimens, tensile test specimens
