Placement Examinations

If you have studied or learned French or Spanish before, then you need to complete one of the two exams below in order to determine which language level is right for you.

WebCAPE

The WebCAPE is a free online exam that you can complete at any time. All you need is about a half hour of uninterrupted time, and an internet connection. This exam is used for placing students in the correct level of French or Spanish. This is a placement exam only, which means that you do not get academic credit hours for any courses that you place out of.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
