To advise the Academic Senate on matters related to diversity and inclusion within the FSU community in order to broaden the classroom and university experiences of faculty, staff, and students.
Objectives:
This committee shall:
- Serve as a liaison between organizations promoting campus diversity and inclusion, and the Academic Senate
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding the Academic Senate in its response to current diversity related issues
- Collaborate with the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) to support training and development initiatives that focus on diversity and inclusion
- Serve, in partnership with University Archives, as a repository for diversity and inclusion initiatives generated by faculty, staff, and students.
Reporting Procedures
The Committee Chair shall submit all approved: minutes and reports to the Vice President of the Academic Senate.
