MCO Continuing Education Tracking

The Michigan College of Optometry is utilizing the optometric education (OE) tracker number issued by the Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry (ARBO) to every licensed optometrist in the U.S. Each doctor can see how many CE credits they have earned at any time and how many credits are needed in each state which the doctor holds a license.

Each participant will be tracked via their OE tracking number. This allows for accurate monitoring of the CE credit and ensures each participant is present and has attended the appropriate CE session. Therefore, anyone late or leaving early for a CE session will not be issued credit. A paper copy of the earned CE credit will not be issued because the information will be automatically registered on the website. (It typically takes a few weeks for the information to show-up on the ARBO website). You will not be allowed to register without an OE tracker number.

If a doctor does not know their OE Tracker Number, they may visit the ARBO website at www.arbo.org.

Accessing the ARBO website for an OE tracker number requires the user complete a short registration process.

This registration process includes:

  1. Go to ARBO s homepage at www.arbo.org
  2. On the main menu click on "OE TRACKER".
  3. New users should Set Up Username/Password.
  4. After completing the registration instructions, you will be able to access the ARBO OE Tracker personal information pages for your continuing education record.

For any other questions regarding the tracking and reporting of your continuing education, contact ARBO directly www.arbo.org
