For non-emergency requests for police, you can request an officer by contacting Meceola Central Dispatch at (231) 796-4811 or Ferris Dispatch at (231) 591-5000.
Call our office at (231) 591-5000 or come to Public Safety to file a police report.
You may drop off prescription drugs in DPS' lobby 24/7. We have a black prescription drop box located immediately to the right when you walk into the department.
Medications should be in a sealed container or Ziploc bag. We do not accept liquids or needles in the prescription bin.
MCL 28.425(o):
Prevents persons from carrying or possessing weapons in dormitories or classroom of a community college, college, or university.
Hunting weapons may be stored at Public Safety, as defined in the University's Business Policy Campus Violence and Weapons Prohibition.
You may obtain your driving record from any Michigan Secretary of State branch office.
You may obtain your Michigan Criminal History from the Internet Criminal History Access Tool at https://apps.michigan.gov/.

Describe what type of program you want (alcohol awareness, narcotic/drug awareness, active shooter, etc.). Include a date and time you would like the program to be. If you have a specific staff request, include this in the request.
If you are not out any money or property, you do not need to file a complaint with Public Safety. Go to www.IC3.gov and report it.
