The Bulldogs Text Tip program is a confidential crime reporting tool for everyone. Crime information can be reported confidentially by sending an e-mail or text to [email protected].

The purpose of the Bulldogs Text Tip program is to be an anonymous crime reporting
tool available to students, staff, faculty, and members of the University community.
To anonymously report a crime, simply text or email the information to [email protected].
Text Tips are sent directly to the Ferris Dispatch Center. Upon receipt, the dispatcher will respond to confirm receipt of your tip.
You may receive additional message(s) asking for further clarification or information. Given the severity and content of the tip, the appropriate emergency services will be dispatched to the location. Tips involving non-criminal matters will be turned over to the appropriate university services (i.e. Office of Student Community Standards, Personal Counseling Center, Title IX, etc.).
All anonymous tips sent through the Text Tip program will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. No names or contact information will be recorded to ensure that you remain confidential.
No. While we will not turn anyone away, all emergency situations should be directed to 911. The Text Tip program is simply for the anonymous reporting of crimes or suspicious activity.

University incidents which may involve hazing or student code violations are encouraged to be reported. Hazing incidents may also be reported to the 24/7 National Hotline 1-888-NOT-HAZE (1-888-668-4293).
