The Information Security & Intelligence faculty are passionate and committed to training the next generation of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and data analytics professionals. In that regard, we scrutinize every programmatic decision and direction against our Mission and Vision Statements.

Mission

The mission of the Ferris State University Information Security and Intelligence program is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to identify, protect and defend information systems, intelligence, technology, individuals, and infrastructures from cyberattacks, cybercrime, and data security risks professionally and ethically.

Vision

The Ferris State University Information Security and Intelligence program will be recognized by academic, primary education, government, public, and private institutions as a global leader in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and data analytics. The Information Security and Intelligence program at Ferris State University will be the first choice for students entering college and studying cybersecurity.
