The cost associated with processing credit cards has continued to grow each year,
and the University wants to continue to offer our customers the option to pay by credit
card. Unfortunately, Ferris State cannot continue to absorb these costs.
FSU has contracted with Touchnet PayPath, a third-party company, to provide credit
card processing services for the consolidated student accounts. By making this change,
FSU will see a cost savings of more than $500,000 per year. The University will continue
to offer free payment options including online e-check payments (ACH bank transfers)
through E-bill.
We hope this page will answer many questions you may have.
PayPath accepts MasterCard, Discover, Visa and American Express. Credit cards payments

Due to increasing costs to process credit card transactions, FSU has contracted with
a third-party company, Touchnet PayPath, to provide credit card processing services
for consolidated student accounts. By contracting with PayPath, FSU can receive the
full amount of the payment and is no longer responsible for the processing fees. The
fee is being charged by the third-party processor, not FSU. This will provide nearly
$500,000 in annual savings for the University.
