Direct Deposit of Credit Balances

Direct Deposit: Students have the option of using their own bank to receive the Financial Aid Refunds. Refunds by direct deposit will be available twice weekly on Wednesday and Friday.

IMPORTANT: Your name must appear on the bank account used for direct deposit. If not, your direct deposit may be rejected and will delay your refund.

Instructions for Direct Deposit Sign-up:

  1. Go to the Ferris website (www.ferris.edu) and log into MyFSU
  2. Click on the Student tab
  3. Under Student Quick Links area click on MyAccount
  4. Under the MyAccount Quick Links section click on Direct Deposit
  5. Click on Start action
  6. Enter your 9 digit bank routing number
  7. Enter your bank account number
  8. Click checking or savings
  9. Click Submit
  10. Review information and click I Agree
  11. The screen should read "Your Direct Deposit information has been changed."
