The Construction Technology and Management Department offers two Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees appropriately tailored to the needs of the nation's largest industry–construction.
Associate of Applied Science Degrees
This program prepares students for a beginning position in the building segment of the construction industry, working on commercial, industrial or residential structures. Students enter the Building Construction Technology program as freshmen. Course content consists of a balanced curriculum of technical course work in a variety of construction topics including surveying, plan reading, mechanical and electrical plans and specifications, wood framing, concrete work, estimating and construction administration. The building construction courses are combined with a solid foundation of sciences, mathematics, and general education.
