Biography

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Mark Dyke is a professor, consultant, speaker, licensed therapist, and business owner. At Ferris State University, he serves as a professor in the Construction Technology and Management Program, where he is dedicated to training and inspiring the next generation of construction professionals.As the owner and therapist at Collaborative Counseling Group, Mark specializes in providing training, consulting, and presentations on mental health safety. His unique combination of expertise as a seasoned construction professional and a licensed mental health therapist allows him to address the critical issue of mental health in the construction industry with unparalleled insight. He may be one of the few professionals in the nation with this distinctive blend of skills and experience.

Mark has channeled his passion for helping others and his extensive construction background into a mission to promote mental health safety within the industry. Through training sessions, keynote speeches, and advocacy, he addresses topics such as suicide awareness and prevention, stress management, conflict resolution, burnout, and effective communication.
