This certificate is a collaborative effort between the Surveying Engineering Program at Ferris State University and the Freshwater Studies Institute at Northwest Michigan College.

Hydrographic Surveying is a specialty in precise positioning and data acquisition in marine environments; expected to work in a wide range of different situations and applications from inland waters and rivers, to ports and the deep oceans. This certificate is geared toward, practicing professionals interested in gaining additional competencies.
