Polymer Materials Technology Minor

 

The Polymer Materials Technology minor is designed for students outside the Plastics/Rubber majors who have an interest in the polymer industry. This minor is intended to complement existing degrees within FSU, such as Industry Chemistry or Product Design. Engaging in hands-on experiences within a laboratory setting, students gain technical insights into polymer materials and their applications.

Throughout the minor, students acquire the skills to measure and evaluate polymer materials, becoming adept in the fabrication techniques prevalent in industry. Moreover, the program explores the critical aspect of polymer material selection in the context of materials and product design.
