Students in the Industrial Chemistry Technology AAS program are involved in traditional classes studying the basic disciplines in chemistry. They are committed to laboratory work, as well as chemical safety and specialty studies concerning such topics as statistical process control and the chemical industry. Ample opportunities also exist to conduct undergraduate research and do an industrial internship. The Industrial Chemistry Technology classes provide an excellent gateway into graduate school or careers in the chemical or related industries. Currently, a Ferris State student can get a BS, an AAS, or a certificate in Industrial Chemistry. The AAS and certificate are easily attached to other four- year degree programs to allow the student to improve their laboratory and analytical skills.
