- Make a child's first eye exam fun while obtaining very accurate results
- Provide exceptional eye care to the whole family
- Incorporate binocular vision and vision therapy in a primary care private practice
- Educate and lecture to pediatricians, nurses, and other medical professionals on how to detect and refer vision problems early
- Use the internet, Facebook and Youtube to reach and educate patients and other medical professionals

- 2-4 Ophthalmic Technicians: Each doctor has their own technician who does autorefraction/keratometry, icare, history
- 1 special tester: OCT, fundus photos, visual field, pachymetry, topography, axial length1 Billing department 5th.
(We fabricate glasses on site so externs can also request to learn how to sell in optical, adjust, and grind lenses)
Although staff is available to transalate, knowledge of some Spanish is helpful since 50% of patients speak primarily Spanish.

(there is a lot of support staff and the computer system is very efficient which allows the day to run smoothly)

- Learn how to add pediatrics and vision therapy to private practice on a limited budget

Students will have the opportunity to shadow opthalmologists for 1-2 days during practice and surgery.

- Miami is a city of 5 million.
- Although there is a Metrorail and bus system, most people travel by car since it is so spread out.
- The temperature rarely falls below 60 degrees or above 90 degrees.
- Our office is 90 minutes to the Florida Keys, 20min to Miami Beach, 2 hours to Naples, and 4 hours to Orlando.
- There are many watersports, tennis, volleyball, biking and running trails.
