Multimedia Journalism Minor

 Minor

 Locations:

The Multi-Media Journalism Minor prepares students to report, write, produce, and publish stories across today’s rapidly evolving media landscape. In an era where news is delivered through digital platforms, audio storytelling, video segments, and social media, journalists need versatile communication and production skills.

Students in this minor learn to craft clear, ethical, and engaging journalistic content while also developing practical abilities in digital media design, editing, and publishing. Coursework emphasizes hands-on experience with contemporary storytelling tools and platforms, making this minor an excellent complement to majors in communication, marketing, public relations, digital media, and related fields. Graduates emerge ready to work in newsrooms, content creation studios, corporate communication teams, nonprofit advocacy organizations, and more.
