French Minor

 Minor

 Locations:

Fluency in a second language is an asset in any professional field, including education, business, health care, government, technology, social services, and many others. The French minor helps students develop written and conversational proficiency in French while also deepening their understanding of the cultures and histories of France and other French-speaking regions.

Students can enhance their learning through summer study abroad opportunities in locations such as France, Quebec, Martinique, and francophone Africa. This minor pairs especially well with majors that benefit from intercultural awareness and global communication, including International Business, Hospitality Management, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Engineering, Education, Public Relations, Public Administration, and Health Professions.
