Social Work: Now More Than Ever

M.S.W. - Master of Social Work

The M.S.W. program prepares students for clinical social work practice, usually therapy with individuals, families, or groups. This M.S.W. degree program develops student skills and experience in different forms of evidenced based practices.

The M.S.W. program offers a wide variety of field sites from which to choose, including schools, hospitals, behavioral health agencies, child welfare agencies and substances abuse agencies. Classes are small, taught by highly experienced clinical and research practitioners. The program infuses trauma informed practice across the curriculum, preparing students for the newest advances in clinical practice.

Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the program provides a rich academic opportunity at Ferris.

We are now offering a School Social Work Certificate beginning with our Fall 2019 class.
