Log in to your mywconline account and pick an available time that lines up with your
schedule. When you click on your chosen time, a window will pop up asking for some
basic information so our consultants can have an idea of what you’d like to work on
in your appointment.
In order for your appointment to be as productive and successful as possible, we recommend
you log in 5-10 minutes before your start time to upload your document and test your
audio and internet connection. We also recommend you take some time beforehand to
narrow down your concerns and identify any questions you have for your consultant.
We understand that tech issues happen, so if you ever run into any, please give us
a call at (231) 591-2534 so we can let your consultant know and reschedule your appointment.
Yes! While it isn’t required, we highly recommend you submit a word document or PDF
of your document before your appointment so your consultant can have your document
pulled up and ready to go ahead of time.
Every appointment is tailored to your specific needs and concerns. Your consultant
may ask you to explain the assignment, the topic or purpose of your document, and
your main concerns. However, every consultant has a different teaching style, so your
concerns may be approached differently from person to person. All writing center appointments
focus on collaborative learning so full participation is required for you to get the
most out of your appointment.
