Dr. Michael Crowe graduated from Ferris State University with an Associate of Science in 2005 and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy in 2009. In 2010, he completed his residency with Diplomat Pharmacy, and then joined the company at its corporate headquarters in Flint, Mich. For eight years, he held various roles within the clinical services department. He is currently the registered manager of general operations with Walgreens’ community based specialty pharmacy in Flint, and president and founder of My Pharmacist Now, PLLC.

He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan–Flint and the Certified Specialty Pharmacist designation from the Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board. He serves as adjunct assistant professor of clinical pharmacy for Ferris, U of M, and Wayne State, and has presented to several health care professionals and patient support groups on topics including specialty pharmacy, medication adherence, and adherence technology.

Dr. Crowe is an active member of his state and local pharmacy associations. He reinvigorated the Genesee County Pharmacists Association and has served as chairman of the Michigan Pharmacist Association (MPA) Patient Safety Task Force. Dr. Crowe earned the MPA’s Distinguished New Pharmacist Practitioner Award and currently serves on the MPA Executive Board as Speaker of the House of Delegates. At Ferris, he serves on the College of Pharmacy Alumni Advisory Board as secretary.

In addition to his studies at Ferris, he was involved with many activities and organizations including the Pharmacy Leadership Society, the Academy of Student Pharmacists, and was a Structured Learning Assistance general chemistry tutor. He has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, organized various health fairs and health screenings, and was a youth soccer coach. Today, he volunteers and recruits volunteers for the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic, and serves at his church, managing service live streams and the church website.
