Pat on the Back Awards July 2012

Congratulations to -

I would like to nominate Bruce Hammond, Steve Johnson and Brian Pacholka for a Pat-on-the-Back award. Bruce, Steve and Brian worked together to build a laser motion controller for the Welding Engineering Technology Program that we would not have been able to afford otherwise. The controller replaces a 20+ year old unit and will allow the WET students to work on a state of the art piece of equipment to laser cut and weld many different materials. The WET department had the system designed and bought the components, and then Bruce, Steve and Brian built the system using their unique talents and abilities. Their efforts saved the University $10,000-$15,000. The WET Program faculty and students truly appreciate their efforts and want to recognize them with a Pat-on-the-Back award.

I would like to nominate Nina Davis, Josie VanAvery, and Laurie Wernette for a Pat-on-the-Back Award.  They helped to make Media Production's reporting transition from FLITE to Retention & Student Success go very smoothly.   Our paperwork consistently ended up being where it needed to be!

I would like to nominate Elise Gramza for thinking outside of the box and creating more efficient processes in the records office.  You rock Elise!!!!!!!
