Linda Meeuwenberg is a 1968 and 1978 graduate of the College of Health Professions, earning her associate degree in Dental Hygiene and bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Education respectively. After leading a distinguished career as a dental hygienist and Ferris faculty member, she now owns the consulting firm Professional Development Association, Inc.

She has received numerous professional and civic volunteer honors including the Swann D. Knowles Leadership Award from the Florida Dental Hygiene Association in 2017, the Woman of Excellence Award from the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce in 2015 and recognition as a Hygiene Hero by the American Dental Hygiene Association in 2009. She is an active member of the Ferris Emeriti Association and actively gives of her time and expertise to various community organizations and non-profits in Florida and Michigan.

Meeuwenberg is a contributing author on three books, and her writing has been featured in RDH and Access, two key industry magazines. She also serves as an opinion leader to major companies in the dental industry such as Colgate and Crest Oral-B.
