This publication appears to have been produced by Admissions and Student Affairs as part of the orientation process for freshman.

Scope and Contents Note

This is an orphan publication about which not much is known. It is unclear whether or not it was an annual publication and how many issues may be missing. It does have some campus life photos in years for which no yearbook is available.

These publications were placed in an Archival Amnesty box put out by the archives in the Rankin Student Center in April 2013.

Processing Information Note

The New Student Record was processed to the folder level by Melinda McMartin Isler in April 2014. A finding aid was prepared in a word processing format and converted to EAD 2.0, utilizing the Archivists Toolkit. A collection level MARC-format record was prepared and placed in the library online public access catalog. Description was based on Describing Archives: A Content Standard (Chicago: Society of American Archivists, 2004).
