Pickell was built in 1964 and was named after Dr. Charles Pickell. Dr. Charles Pickell (’05) was an early Pharmacy graduate who later was a faculty member and Dean of the program. He left Ferris in 1911 to practice dentistry. Pickell is one of two honors residence halls on campus.

Desk Service Assistants: Student employees that work the 24/7 front desk.
Resident Advisors: Pickell has 4 RAs. RAs are student employees that are community leaders and meant to aid students living on campus. Each RA has designated residents assigned to them, primarily based on floor location.
Senior Staff Advisor: The senior staff advisor is a student staff member that manages operations of the front desk and various RA tasks.
Hall Director: The Hall Director is the professional staff member in charge of day-to-day supervision
and overall management of the staff and building.
