Ferris State University's nursing programs provide career mobility options for students who desire an initial career in nursing and nurses who are seeking advanced degrees.

For those who are entering the nursing profession, we offer a pre-licensure BSN program. This innovative curriculum offers a five-semester track for traditional nursing students. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) to become a Registered Nurse (RN).

The RN to BSN or RN to MSN completion programs are for RNs originally prepared at the associate degree or diploma level. They provide consumer-friendly upper division degrees that are offered fully online.

The MSN degree is a 100% online program designed to provide a learner centered curriculum that prepares nurses with knowledge and skills for specialty leadership roles. The MSN program offers three concentrations: nursing administration, nursing informatics, and nursing education.

Our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a post-master's leadership degree. The DNP is fully online and offers 8-week courses. You may finish the DNP degree within two calendar years. Please view the specific program you are interested in on the menu to the right.
