In the Artificial Intelligence (AI) bachelor's degree program, you will help pioneer a field with unlimited potential to move our world forward. You will dive-in from day one at Ferris, focusing on cybersecurity, internet of things, machine learning, and natural language processing, including the use of voice and biometric data. Working side by side with our expert faculty members, you will define, design and deliver AI solutions using the latest technologies and capabilities.
Developed in collaboration with industry leaders and with support from the Department of Defense, the Ferris AI program is the only bachelor of science program in Michigan, and one of only a handful in the United States.

Ferris State University has a long tradition of pioneering new technologies. The Artificial Intelligence bachelor's degree joins a lengthy list of distinguished STEM programs at Ferris, including our Software Engineering degree program, Cloud Computing and Machine Learning certificates, and our highly ranked, ABET accredited Information Security and Intelligence program.
Ferris is also the home of the FSU Center for Cybersecurity and Data Science. The research labs and classrooms at the Center provide students with access to the latest technology and the opportunity to gain the hands-on skills that top employers are looking for.

LinkedIn named AI Specialist the top emerging job in 2020, with roles in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and robotics all cracking the top 15. This is just the beginning.
