Minor
Locations:
The Mathematics Secondary Education Minor prepares students to teach mathematics at the high school level. Through coursework such as MATH 220, MATH 438, and additional supporting classes, students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, instructional strategies, and curriculum design. This minor provides the knowledge and experience needed to create effective, engaging learning environments that support student success in mathematics.
When paired with a secondary education major (other than Mathematics), students completing this minor will be eligible to teach in more than one content area, increasing their versatility and marketability in the teaching profession.
