Registrar’s Office Mission Statement

The Registrar’s Office has the responsibility to maintain timely and precise records of the academic advancement and accomplishments of Ferris State University students, while maintaining the soundness, security, and privacy of those records as delineated by the 1974 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

The office strives to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty members, administrators, alumni and the general public in the domain of academic facilities management, athletic and veteran eligibility certification, course registration, course scheduling, data analysis, information management, institutional planning, and record keeping.

The Registrar’s Office uses its pivotal university position to add value to the information which it manages by participating fully in activities to recruit, retain, graduate, and assist in the placement of the most academically talented and diverse students possible.
