Fishing at Ferris State

Welcome to to the Fishing Club. The group is for students interested in fishing and fishing tournaments.  This club sport will be going to various fishing tournaments (Cabela's Collegiate Series, BASS College Series Midwest Conference, FLW Northern Region, and Michigan College Bass Circuit), salmon tournaments, NAIFC ice fishing tournaments, doing fundraisers, and being active in the community informing and teaching people about the sport of fishing. If you enjoy fishing we hope you will join and help us to compete and have fun while enjoying the great sport of fishing.

This organization gives you an opportunity that you are not going to be able to get anywhere else. This allows you to be a part of a team that is able to fish all around Michigan and the United States.

This organization does not have selective membership, as long as you have an interest in fishing we would be glad to have you as a member. All members must meet the standards of the club constitution and by-laws in order to actively participate.

More about the Ferris State Fishing Club:
The purpose of this organization is to provide opportunities to students that have an interest in fishing to enjoy the sport with fellow students and allow them to compete as a team in tournaments. As well as students who are interested in learning how to fish.

The group contacts local, regional, and national organizations, businesses, and corporations for sponsorship to enable the members to attend large tournaments through out the country. The club also helps other organizations to provide opportunities to children and veterans to learn about and participate in the sport of fishing.
