Students may live on campus in student housing, or they may secure their own off-campus housing.
Students are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation. The third
year of the program is in Grand Rapids, which has a wide variety of housing available.
The fourth year of the program consists of six 6-week practice rotations within the
state. Most of these are concentrated in the Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo areas, but we
utilize sites in a variety of other locations, including Lansing, Saginaw/Midland,
and Marquette. Student preferences are taken into consideration. Students are generally
scheduled for their rotations in concentrated areas in order to minimize the need
to move during this year. Students have utilized various means for housing during
their third and fourth years, including renting apartments/houses/rooms, hotels, and
living with family/friends.
