John C. Kriscenski is an assistant professor of accounting at Ferris State University. He is also a certified public accountant in both Connecticut and New York. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford. He brings with him professional experience from a regional public accounting firm where he served a broad client base that included high-net-worth individuals, start-up businesses and large, publicly traded companies. While in practice, he researched complex tax and accounting issues for his clients and reviewed federal and multi-state tax return filings.

He is actively involved with the accounting profession and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Accounting Association. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing in local rivers, going hiking in nature and volunteering for environmental cleanup events.
