Leadership and Project Management Minor Alumni Story: Jordanny Williams - B.S. HVAC Eng Tech and Energy Management, Leadership and Project Management Minor,  Economics Minor, 2021

                                                                          Jordanny Williams

Jordanny received his Bachelor’s in HVAC Eng Tech & Energy Management with Minors in Leadership and Project Management and Economics.   He currently works at  F.T. Williams & Associates as a Project Manager/Junior Engineer. As far as the lean curriculum, he writes, " The OSM/Lean curriculum taught me a lot. The one big takeaway that I have immediately brought to my job is how to work as a team no matter how large a project may seem.  I was fortunate to work with a group for my lean class that was diverse, but also well oiled. My team spoiled me a bit, but it also showed me how valuable a great team is and what that team can achieve when everyone goes above and beyond. The OSM/Lean curriculum also helped me to appreciate how processes within my organization can always be improved. Being more efficient and effective is what keeps an organization viable for years and I definitely learned that through the OSM/Lean curriculum." Thank you for such a great testament to the program, Jordanny!

He also provides advice for current/future students when he writes, "Soak in all the information you can and do your utmost to be engaged within the class. The curriculum seamlessly translates into a real working environment. Professor Eshbach was phenomenal and really designed the class in a way that you can succeed as you further your personal development. It really is a great curriculum and if you have the chance to do more with it pursue it, it is for your benefit."
