Theory and Exploration
We encourage undergraduate student engagement in stimulating, well-developed research projects. Throughout the processes of topic development, research design, data interpretation, and reporting findings, we believe you’ll develop skills and experiences that will expand on your knowledge acquired in the classroom.
Getting Involved in Research
- Take one of our many classes that has a research component.
- Talk with your professors. If they endorse your research idea and are willing to mentor you, they may select you to work with them.
- Speak with department leaders to find out more about the research projects that are happening in their area.
